Labor Day, the end of summer

 A meteorologist will tell you autumn begins September 1, an astronomer will tell you the season begins at the equinox, September 22.  Here in the northeast, the summer “season” begins around Memorial Day weekend and ends on Labor Day.  So I guess you can say September is a transitional month.

I loved so much of what we did this summer, but I’m also looking forward to fall. I think my brain has already switched to autumn mode …
