No air conditioning? Join the club! I keep bottles of water in the nice cool cellar for everyone to cool off with.
One year, one cat kept running underfoot and shedding on freshly washed laundry. I threw a little cold water on her as a deterrent. She ran out looking indignant, licked off the water, lay in the shade for an hour or so, and then started running around the laundry baskets again! Really calling attention to herself! It has to get very warm for cats to enjoy being wet, but that day that cat did.
Oh, they must be so miserable in this heat. Have you considered shaving them? Looks weird, but way cooler.
ReplyDeleteYep, I think most of the animals are seeking to stay cool any way they can. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.
