Wildfires!
The Canadian wildfires are affecting the air here on Long Island. You can actually smell the smoke in the air. We are being told to limit outdoor activity. If it’s this bad here, I can only image how horrible things must be in Canada.
So there will not be any “walk in the park” posts this week.
We’re supposed to go to a baseball game tomorrow night. Hopefully the smoke will have cleared by then.
My eyes are irritated, and we are staying indoors, but I'm thinking of all those with respiratory conditions trying to cope. All our county parks are closed today and high schools aren't allowing their students out at lunchtime. So fortunate it's been cool. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteSame here, outdoor activities canceled, etc.
DeleteTake care. Ashy air is the worst. Are you getting a light sprinkling of gray ash on your car?
ReplyDeleteHaven’t been outside today to check
DeleteDepending on how thick the smoke is, you could have a light dusting or something more substantial. Take care.
