I had forgotten all about that Carpenters cover of Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft. We were on some similar wavelengths with our selections, and I thank you for including that song. I haven't heard it in forever.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember The Carpenters' Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft. I see Alana says it's a cover. Now, I'm curious to learn who did the original and to see I know it. Probably don't. Good collection of songs! Have a boogietastic week, Robin! xo

ReplyDeleteLove this and i love Calling Occupants but I may use the original version by Klaatu. Love Star Trek except poor Shatner sounds like he got hit in the balls, either that or he sucked in too much helium...lol
ReplyDeleteGreat selection for the prompt! The Carpenters cover song was pretty unusual, for them. As Birgit mentioned, Klaatu is the version I know. And I agree about Shatner's voice. It sure doesn't sound like him.
